PROFILE:
The Kiowa County Media Center is searching for a technically oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively. This is a full-time position with semi-flexible hours. The work schedule requires consistent hours at our offices in Greensburg, with some work completed remotely. On-demand hours may be required depending on production schedules and events.
Previous experience in video production is required. We are willing to train for live event production. This position will deal heavily in video production as a producer for our services offered through kcmcprovideo.com , with live event production being a secondary role. DUTIES:
VIDEO PRODUCTION
-
Work with clients to determine video project vision, goals, and budget

Develop, produce, and edit video content from start to finish
-
Incorporate audio, still images, and motion graphics into video content
-
Drone certification is beneficial, but not required
LIVE EVENT PRODUCTION
-
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
-
Set up broadcast trailer and equipment for live broadcasts
-
Direct the production crew during live broadcasts
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGMENT
OTHER ROLES
-
Production of podcasts
-
Recording music artists (basic set up and editing)
-
Analog to digital conversions
SKILLS:
-
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)

Knowledge of basic video, audio, and lighting principles
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
The Media Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to a mission to engage, support and empower communities through quality multimedia, technology, education, and training. The Kiowa County Media Center works in partnership with Greensburg Tourism and Kiowa County Economic Development making this position the content creator for marketing and promotion of the area. Billboard and print material design, web creation along with video production makes for very impactful and public uses of the content created by the Specialist.
A bonus of the job is getting the chance to work and learn from a professional videographer who creates content for the Media Center at times. Seth Binford is a great teacher in the field when opportunities arise for him to work with us on projects. His work is demonstrated on our professional video services page, KCMCprovideo.com
Executive Director and twelve year professional video producer and live event director Grant Neuhold is in the office next door to help guide and teach the processes of working with clients and producing a higher caliber of videos for clients and the community.
