Community Calendar and Sharing Guidelines

The Community Calendar is a feature of the Kiowa County Media Center’s website which posts events in a common location that is viewed by the general public to advertise county-wide events. All events must be open to the public and be held in Kiowa County, Kansas.

 

Announcements should be submitted at least five days prior to the event to ensure promotion. Announcements received less than 24-hours prior may not be featured.

 

The online submission form must be filled out entirely. Forms with missing entry fields may not be processed for posting. Events may also be submitted by sending the following information to info@kwksmedia.org.

-Event contact name and email address

-Event name, date, time, and location

-Short description of the event

 

KCMC staff reserves the right to edit event information for length, spelling, language, and clarity.

 

Events may also be shared on the Kiowa County Media Center’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. Posting on the Community Calendar does not ensure posting on social media. Recurring weekly or monthly events will not be shared individually on social media.

 

KCMC staff reserves the right to limited the number of postings from one organization and to reject any announcement deemed inappropriate or not serving the public interest of the community.
